Apologies for not reading through all the 80 pages of this thread.

Picked up one of the RSF Kickstarter vegan Super C Long Flap.
What's the recommended method of mounting it from a 34.9mm diameter seat post?

A Bagmzn mount is best way to do it. You've got two choices, one comes with a quick release so you can disengage it speedily from the saddle ras or tge other, slightly cheaper version, which is permanently attached.

If you're interested in the latter I've got a spare but I'm unwilling to give up the Bagman Sport with the quick release just in case I ever go touring again.

I have the same bag, doesn’t mount good with the QR, if you have saddle loops use them and the latter option. I mean it work but the distance from QR to support is too short so you have to squeeze it down. I’m thinking about a restuvus and a Nitto R14
