Is that true?
I saw quite a lot of people eating outdoors in Japan but not necessarily walking down the street I guess.
Worried about how many people I might have offended based on the sheer number of onigiris I ate while walking on the pavement.
Yeah apparently it's rude to eat in your own car and on public transport too
I saw loads of people eating outside when I was there 20 years ago. It was certainly not one of the things I was told to be mindful of anyway.
