And at Aldi in St Andrews

Very good. How are those tyres? They look supple.

Thanks!
I like them. Belongs in the cheap and cheerful department, Continental Contact Speed.Went for the 26" 2.00 version, still playing around with air pressure but they seem to roll perfectly fine in my experience. And quiet, which was something I was hoping for.
Not a huge fan of the styling. -

That almost mirror my new bike.
650b, semi compact geo, straight fork, mechanical brakes, SRAM, pass and stow rack, front Dynamo, full frames bags, 1 by, etc.

Does anyone have their eye on the Singular Peregrine? I think it might end my enteral search for a posh Surly Straggler.

I had the 520! Happy student days mountain biking in Auvergne.
The 510 was 3 main tubes cromo, with full LX groupset as a special edition. The 520 was main tubes, stays and forks cromo but stx RC groupset. Both in same price range. The hours spent with my friend debating which one to get... We went for the better frame.
Decathlon had introduced a titanium frame that year too, sub 10kg mountain bike was mind blowing to us back then...
With mudflaps finally fitted, I think my commuter qualifies in the thread.
