During the dinosaur age, CO₂ in the atmosphere dropped from about 2000ppm (lots, leading to 10-12C higher global mean surface temperature than now) to about 400ppm (about where we are now). I think the implications are clear - the climate change people are trying to avoid can best be avoided by reintroducing dinosaurs 🙂

As birds are our remaining dinosaurs, ornithologists will be delighted (just so long as Rod Hull and his emu glove puppet remain extinct).

But birds aren't real. It looks like the biome associated with sauropods probably did the heavy lifting in terms of CO₂ sequestration
