I have a habit of distancing myself from people, and it's very humbling to see so much generosity and so many good wishes from people I haven't seen in years, and strangers I've never met.
I do miss the times when I got to see many of the people on this forum in person. -
Been thinking about this over the weekend if I was knocked off my bike and couldn't work as a result I would be asking the insurers of the vehicle to pay for my loss of earnings and any pain and suffering caused I take it this avenue has been explored apologies for lack of punctuation

That girl got thousands for stepping out in front of a cyclist on her phone on london, surely you can claim some sort of money from one of they ambulance chasing solicitors that will claim the driver Scott? Know it won't be tommorrow but I dont see how the driver of the car can just walk away scott free, excuse the pun.
