Hoods on rain jackets are nice when it is raining. Not all hoods are bad.

Hoods on hoodies.
Fucking love hoods. Instantly improve my mood, but then I do feel the cold. I hate it when they don't fit properly though, which is most of the time. Why so small? BRP one is perfect.

Glad I had my hoodie on yesterday, it was so bastard cold at football I had the hood up over my woolly hat. Although that meant that I noticed my frozen feet more.

Completely agree, sweatshirts for me from now on. Hoods are lumpy under a coat, not a great look over a coat. Not waterproof. Ill fitting when actually deployed which is extremely rare. People drive wearing them. Blah blah, get a hat.

Nonsense, hoodies are fucking awesome... Very casual attire, I wouldn't rock up to the office in one now but I used to wear them all the time when I was a designer...
I like to cinch them up around my neck like a scarf, so cosy...

Fucking cupboards being 5mm too shallow.
30 sec job is about to become a 15mins transkitchen arrangement affair.

On reflection, I may have overreacted.
The principle still stands; not being able to fit things in your cupboards /having too much stuff for the number of cupboards you own.

The very definition of a first world problem:)

Pro tip - cheaper to replace plates than cupboards. Yes, that is from experience.

My neighbours going to bed at 2 in the morning and getting up at 5 and behaving as if everyone in the building has the same schedule, shouting all over the house, banging doors and cupboards, etc.
In fact, the longer I live in apartment buildings the more I realize most people are actually on 4h sleep schedules.

In my world substitute the word cupboard for bike shed.
(The cupboard thing still applies in my kitchen but I don’t spend so much time in there.) -

Badminton. Effete swishy tennis for the elderly. The very worst of all the netted sports.

It's a good game if you're good at it though. Gives me more of a workout that either tennis or squash.

it would have far greater appeal if they simply called it "Badmanton"
Well, you should have bought a sweatshirt instead.
I have the same feeling about hoods in general, especially when cycling, just a huge windsock that ends up strangling you.
