  • I don't think so, I think you can only look at them individually.

    https://audax.uk/choose-a-ride/permanent-events/ and search for Cambrian

Then for each of them click on 'View' to get a link like https://audax.uk/event-details?eventId=5482 and then you can scroll down and click on the 'Control Locations' link to get a map view, e.g. https://perms.audax.uk/?eventId=5482

  • Not really. Some of them can be found on RWGPS (that's where I got the 1K route from). The perms maps site might give you a rough idea but I've not looked at the others.

  • When does the AUK site normally update to show the 'current season' points stuff?

  • It is usually about a month before the previous seasons results get locked down and the currennt season goes live.

  • It used to be tied in with finalizing points totals for the annual reunion/awards ceremony. That's been pushed out til spring this year so who knows.

  • Coolio. I can just see myself losing track of all the DIY submissions. I don't want to send the poor guy everything twice and confuse him and I don't want to forget any :)

Well, it seems they heard me and this season's results are now showing.

  • Good morning, can I ask for some knowledge from some wiser audaxers?
My goal this year is a fixed SR leading into a fixed LEL, I have the Moonrakers 300 under my belt already but then it dawned on me that I don't know how to ratify the rides as fixed?
Do I simply mark the card at each ride , do I need to apply for an official fixed card for the ride or whole season or do I submit every thing at the end of the season?
I have studied the Audax UK site and page on fixed but am none the wiser.

  • Get a card from Richard. Get each ride signed off, send card back at end of season. I’ll pm you his email address. I did my last SR fixed in 2019 but plan another one this season.

  • Beautiful, thanks!

  • The checkboxes on the back of the card are just for fun AFAIK. They aren’t verified or recorded anywhere else.

  • My goal this year is a fixed SR

Me too, first DIY 200 on Tuesday.

I LOVE my FWC brevet card

  • Bromyard control - "PLEASE DO NOT USE THE SERVICE STATION, THERE WAS AN INCIDENT THERE RECENTLY INVOLVING A CYCLIST, AND CYCLISTS ARE NO LONGER WELCOME."

What incident bans a whole mode of transport from a service station of all places?

  • Actual lol.

Too many energy gels and some sort of rainbow puke incident?

  • What incident bans a whole mode of transport from a service station of all places?

    I wondered that!
(Entered but will have to DNS)

Did a quick search on YACF but nothing intriguing came up.

Better hope they don't have an incident with a driver...

  • Oooo audax drama.

  • It’s Bromyard, the grey area between Hereford and Leominster. Could have been anything from a marauding folk musician to angry farmer on a quad bike.

Probably a bunch of audaxers got in a knife fight with a Morris troupe in the style of West Side Story.

    Gilets vs Hankies.

  • Had good success with a 200 yesterday. Too much enjoying myself for the first 3 hours though and realised I needed to work hard to claw some time back to make it home in time for kiddie bedtime. A few recce rides and I've found the nicest bits in the valleys either side of the B2068 and had a great tailwind from before Rye all the way to Hythe. As I ate correctly I finished thinking a 300 was totally doable. Anyway was a lovely day out:

  • First solo 200. I did Man of Kent of few years ago fixed with @cagimaha and was absolutely chewing my stem the last 35km. I would still be in Tonbridge now if it weren't for him. This was a much more comfortable finish!

  • wow cant believe he carried you like that, he usually drops me

  • Well I didn't intermittently attack him over the first 150km which may have been in my favour

  • Kings, Castles, & Churches 200k/1.5A on the weekend. #aaarty #2

  • Nip into that petrol station when you are passing and ask if there has been any trouble...

  • If I'm back there when it has nothing to do with an audax I might just do that, but I won't do anything to upset an organiser that has specifically asked riders to avoid it.
