FS: Gitane Tandem 56cm pilot / 53cm stoker - £375>>350

Recently got into tandem riding with my partner, and whilst we've loved this beaut as an introduction to it, we’re looking to upgrade something for a long distance tour!

Dimensions:

• 56cm square pilot
  
• 53cm effective ST for stoker
  
  

Recently (i.e. in the last 50-100km)it has had:

• new brake pads and cables
  
• Rebuilt front wheel with new rim
  
• New tyres and tubes (700 * 35c Michelin)
  
  

components:

• sugino maxi tandem chansets
  
• maillard 40h hubs
  
• Weimann concave rear rim, kinlin front
  
• mafac tandem cantis (larger break pads, with inners by koolstop in salmon)
  
• rear hub brake
  
• working bottle dynamo and front light, think rear needs a new bulb.
  
• steel mudguards and front bag support, as well as front pannier rack
  
  

It’s been great fun riding this together, and we both have a soft spot for it as our first experience of this together. Hoping it can bring someone else a great time too!
