Decisions on Grizl Al vs CF for new commuter.

Rack mounts vs Tailfin basically. Can think of a reason to choose the CF over the AL?

CF for a commuter would be waay OTT.

Al one you can crash, throw around and get stolen with less issue like all good commuters.

Commuter is just the term I use to justify spending on something new.

I use it for pretty much all my riding unless it’s summer hills.

For anyone interested Canyon have released a load of stock of Ultimates

Just did a @PhilDAS / @MechaMorgan and bagged a knackered frame that may kill me at any moment but was too good / cheap to pass up.

Wondering if any of you lovely canyonites have some headset spare parts they can throw at me (or gently place in my hand, but I know which is more fun….)

Looking for bearings for Ultimate CF SLX, but most importantly, if nothing else, the little plastic split washer thing that sits between upper headset bearing and bearing cover….

Wondering if anyone knows of any 3rd party/replacement forks with the 1 1/2 – 1 1/4" tapered steerer?

Alternatively, is there a headset/adapter I could use to get down to 1 1/8" at the top which would allow me to use some Kinesis forks?

The bike is a 2012 ultimate AL with the daft Acros headset
