If you're referring to my Photoshop here above, that's correct. The original image of Ejay is on the previous page. :D

That actually made me go and have a look as I have taken it off and put moonwatch back on !!
But yes bugger me if I hadnt noticed the missing lume .

I randomly bought a Seagull 1963 on Aliexpress for £100, and now I'm looking at Longines heritage military watches for £1500-£2000. This is crazy.
Out of interest, are Longines often on sale? Is it silly to purchase one for RRP?

Love a Seagull 1963.
Got one with a worn winder.
If only it could be repaired ...

Haha! Welcome to the mad house.
I think it’s silly to pay RRP for Longines unless you’re 100% sure you’ll keep it.
You can PM me some models and I’ll tell you how much discount I can get. -

Love my Seagull 1963.
Got one with a broken chrono reset.
If only it could be repaired...

just a note to say that you may have skipped the "seiko" stage in your watch purchasing journey... feels like a rite of passage before getting into swiss brands

Only if you plan to sell it.

Ooosh, well I guess I do have a springbar removal tool...
As mine still runs, I'll keep it together for a bit

I would be interested if it looked more like this;
For me it's mostly the thick bezel that I dislike

I think I like the military marine nationale the most (shame about the low water resistance), which is silly money enough, but I love the 1946 chronograph too!
I can get 20% NHS discount at Goldsmiths or thereabouts elsewhere. What discount do you have?
-
• #59322
The 1946 Chrono is 23% off at Fraser Hart https://www.fraserhart.co.uk/longines-heritage-classic-40mm-cream-dial-chronograph-arabic-numerials-steel-case-black-strap-mens-watch?gclid=CjwKCAiA4veMBhAMEiwAU4XRr7GzplW8iRAPkk3U7HvxbCG-p5e0pDKDN5f1jDmO82MRkeZ-GX6cKBoC6-kQAvD_BwE
And the MN… let me check.

20% as well. With Longines - it’s always worth looking on eBay as they don’t really hold value, so bargains can be had if you’re patient.

Thanks! I look forward to scouring retailers and used sellers for weeks!

Always a good idea to go and try watches on if you can. Sometimes what you see online can be misleading. Good luck with your search 👍
I would be interested in getting one if it were more like this (and not missing the lume on the 5 marker)
