  • Terrifyingly good, man, can we keep that up? It's a blue juggernaut!!! Manure must be shitting their pants... Of course we'll lose...

  • Yeah was great team performance. Silva becoming a cult hero. That clearance!
Unt at the weekend on the Carrick bounce!

  • Silva, James and CHO were the standout players last night. But in general Chelsea just looked kind of awesome. Made Juventus look like amateurs. Did Chiesa or Morata even touch the ball.

On the United front that goal will be good for Sancho. but United were lucky to win that game.

  • Ah what a goal that was! Had the pleasure of being there in disbelief at how it cam out of nowhere. I was also in disbelief at how we managed not to win that game and how humanity constantly makes it known it is made up of so many arseholes in the ensuing anti-Mikel backlash.

Gutted not to have been there last night (apart from the cold!), what a game that was!

  • The 1st touch from Oscar was so good knew exactly what he wanted to do. Trying to rember what the anti Mikel was all about?
Chillwell injury is down from last night he has been playing so well

  • Mikel was accused of giving away the ball for Juve's equaliser at the end of the game, ended 2-2 after we had led 2-0.

Fingers crossed neither Chilwell nor Kante have picked up bad injuries. Part of me wouldn't mind if they got a little bit of a rest as it might work out in the long run, we seem to be good at rotating and players coming in look red hot to prove a point, hopefully there is a silver lining in the long term for the season?!

  • Still buzzing

That was one of the most complete performances that I can recall watching at Stamford Bridge. Absolutely imperious. Coming on the back of Saturday's win, it does seem that we have escaped the curse of the international break. Hopefully that will carry over to Sunday and the visit of Carrick's Babes.

The only disappointment was that Mount and Loftus-Cheek failed to get onto the scoresheet.

  • Ah right. Erased the 2 juve goals out of my mind.
Alonso did well in his run of games. But he is alot slower and can leave Chelsea exposed sometimes.
Be interesting if he switches to have a bit more pace cover for Utd at the weekend with Sancho/rashford / Ronaldo.

  • Thought Loftus-Cheek looked great when he came on composed/powerful and set up that 3rd beautifully

  • What a game that was, I thought last weekend was the best I’d seen them play in years but yesterday was vintage. It’s madness to think that arguably our best players were injured or are coming back from injury.

  • A name that I suspect not many of you will know but ex-Burnley, Wolves, Bristol City, Rochdale, Wigan and Charlton centre half is suffering from motor neurone disease. https://www.itv.com/news/granada/2021-11-23/i-cant-even-walk-football-captain-opens-up-about-mnd-battle

Also a fundraiser here to try and raise funds to make his life a bit more comfortable https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/n-pender

  • Terrible disease, I just found out an ex-colleague has been diagnosed with it, just the worst luck... ☹️

  • Thiago's strike for Libpool.

    Sublime.

  • Lols.

  • 10 pts clear in what was labelled the group of death, nearly as many points as we were clear in the league at xmas the time we won the title.

one more win and we could the first british team to win all their group games. lets hope we don't have to face bayern chelsea citeh or psg in the next round, our defense is still looking a bit shaky at times

    come on porto

  • be class if porto, sporting and benfica all got through

expecting a skelping from leverkusen tonight : /

  • City and Chelsea looking ominously strong and playing some great football. Bayern look like the only side who can get close.

  • The three English teams definitely look the strongest. That Thiago goal and the Silva assist were the highlights from last night

  • it's been apparent for the last few seasons that the English based teams play a much better style of football than the classic European teams and they can't cope with it.

English footie has always been about high intensity but we seem to have added in the ability to keep the ball, pressing and high levels of skill.

This has carried over to the national team and hence our recent successes or at least final appearances rather than the disappointing failure to get out of the group that we normally experience.

it's quite exciting to be leading the world rather than playing catch up as has been the case for 30, 40, 50 years.

  • no doubt prem is Best League in the World(TM) but anytime I tune in for a live match it's a snoozefest

accept that may be because I'm not invested, though may also be because I am a noted anglophobic

  • Just seen that thiago goal. Beautiful.
there's a camera angle from behind and you see the ball arrow in not touching the floor.
Loved James chest and hit also both wonderful true strikes of a ball one with violence one with a technique

  • Indeed, dips and then rises (thanks to a combination of the Magnus effect and Ground effect).

  • I was looking for the proper words to describe the movement. 👍👍 Ta.
    It's brillinat how it moves.

  • Rangnick to United as caretaker. Interesting appointment if he sticks around as DoF, but his career has gone a bit strange last few years flitting between different jobs in different capacities.

  • florian wirtz is a #pler

salt J with the panenka... pls do not do this ever again
