Almost acceptable. CSL alloys instead of the twin spokes would be better. They were all 20k for an ok car when I started keeping an eye on them, 25-30 now 😞

Finding ones that haven’t been fucked is the challenge there. Plus once you start looking at Ms the standards just look a little thin. You could definitely have some interesting fun with one and an open wallet though.

In E9x, yes. Manual is good, but if you want to go fast, then DCT is better.

I think I’d prefer DCT- I’m a) old, b) lazy and c) the 996 is a manual so I think I have that covered.

I do like the 6hp and 8hp zf auto boxes.

Those auto boxes are better than a manual box.

The 8sp ZF is astonishingly good. Much rather have that than a double clutch.
