Going to make it look a lot uglier than it did in Manchester that’s for sure

No gears?

Simply needed a bike to get around the city which wasn’t as wide and as heavy as the double deckers I was getting stuck behind on the homer, this requires the cost of a chain and maybe the odd bolt
With all the money I save on the overground I will put it towards strongbow and thinking about the bike I’ll eventually buy one day to replace this
Maybe Commuting semi regularly again will give me stronger legs so I can just ride the homer everywhere
But for now I will simply ride the cheugy langster

That said I was having a bunch of fun hopping off various kerbs as thrasher carried the bike back
It’s such a GOOD bike
Although I’m not sure I will have the same enthusiasm as I try to ride from angel to brockley at 7am which is hopefully where the langster will be better suited

I am buying NO MORE single speed bikes
Liking it more than I thought I would tbqh
I think I will get a new headset so I can run the homer stem, some 28s for it so I can give thrasher his tyres back, call it done
It’s quite fun
Guess that’s ultimately why I didn’t sell this with all the others

First commute back on this this morning
Q2, cs6, q1
Might be the fact it was all down hill, sunny and great light but it felt pretty good!
25c? Back in fashion?
Ask me again when it’s raining and dark

The pomp was close… so close… but want… Kaffenback
Ftfy.
Edit: L is too big? Worth an eBay alert though maybe for future ones?

We have been looking at this in the [redacted], it’s good, it’s an xl too which is the size I prefer
But I don’t think I want another on one, even with gears
Think I want something a bit sportier, really want a steel cross bike
People screaming
“THE POMP IS A CROSS BIKE”
Yes yes yes but Marie kondo etc
Want a steel caadx
Maybe I’m just making these exscuses as I don’t want to go to Bristol and actually can’t handle when the exact thing I want is presented to me because the thing is not what I want, I just want the self flagellation and the eternal spiral
Who knows

But I don’t think I want another on one
But but the Kaffenback is by PX, so technically it isn't an On One... a tidy respray and no-one will ever need know....

We have to ignore powder coating
One could powder coat a barn gate and it would suddenly become an attractive bike to ride for a year or two
If this got in the mainstream the bike industry would collapse
Could just go on eBay pick any frame and send it to the local coater
£800 looking frameset right there, more if it has discs
