Cars are a money pit, and unless you've got it sloshing about don't bother
The e46 wasn’t expensive at all, and is a decent amount of fun for me, so naturally I’m curious if there’s a logical next step up. But also aware the next step might mean doubling the cost, and halving the reliability (no bueno).

If Nurse's posts haven't scared you off cars for life, nothing will. Cars are a money pit, and unless you've got it sloshing about don't bother. It's a waste.
