Sounds similar to my sister, she had to wait for a similar length of time. MRI showed a very shallow socket on one side, that the pressure of sitting pushed the ball out putting pressure on the nerve bundle. She's been referred to a young person hip clinic. It's a real job trying to get that kind of referral though.
