Sure thing, let’s make it happen! - I’ll dm you the basics, can put together a cad mock-up for you, and go from there. Sparkly vinyl sounds intriguing!…

Not sure where to put this, but would a local machinist be able to make a small direct mount rim brake calliper adapter if I brought them the technical diagram?
I need a small adapter to make the brakes work with my frame, but Cane Creek no longer make it and it seems to be out of stock everywhere in the world. They did however send me the technical diagram with angles, measurements, thread pitches etc

Local council might have a metal recycling facility at the local tip.
My local borough (Wandsworth) does.

Cheers - any ball park figure on what it might cost? Basically there is a modified version of the brakes with a shorter arm so the adapter isn't needed but it's an extra £140. I figure anything under this number makes it a worthwhile exercise.

I'm sure this is good advice. I've got a design I like, want it on hoodies for gifts, beyond that I'm clueless. I'll see if I can find someone helpful, if anyone here has such knowledge and fancies helping out, please do shout...

This is what I got from Cane Creek, no idea if it's sufficient sorry

It's sufficient to tell me that you should buy new brakes. If you're paying somebody to do it, £140 doesn't even get that drawing turned into something a CNC shop can work from.

Interested in hearing suggestions on best place to get sharper on Google Analytics/Google Tag Manager. I know my way around pulling basic site stats but need to sharpen up on goals and tagging content. Recommendations gratefully received

Does anyone know what this washer with a worrying crack in it is actually called? It's part of my rear Mack hub and I think it's called a track hub axle washer, but they don't normally fix on hex bolts. It goes inside the dropout, if that's not clear.
I'm going to email Mack but does anyone know where I could buy one quicker?

Thanks, that definitely seems to be what they're called but when I google that all I'm finding is ones for cars and motorbikes!
I'll keep digging unless anyone has any ideas...

Do you need metal or plastic?
ETA:
It is also known as a flanged bush.
Have you had a look at the Simply Bearings website?
ETFA:
I've just looked on Simply Bearings website - they do them in steel or in bronze, as well as plastics.
I'm guessing that for your purposes the ID and the OD will be the critical dimensions (if you haven't got one, get or borrow a vernier gauge) the size of the flange less so. -

Why not just order a couple online

Always wondered why train/bus spotters don’t become drivers?

Some do, I know one. In general though, the urge to collect is not the same as the urge to do. Also, even if it was, doing your hobby as a job has a tendency to ruin it.

Anyone recommend somewhere in town for a bit of ice skating this winter season? Haven't been to any of the regular spots, would be curious to hear opinions considering their size, quality, busyness, value for money etc...

Sounds similar to my sister, she had to wait for a similar length of time. MRI showed a very shallow socket on one side, that the pressure of sitting pushed the ball out putting pressure on the nerve bundle. She's been referred to a young person hip clinic. It's a real job trying to get that kind of referral though.

I think this clinic actually does do reaming hence the long wait. Getting the diagnostic imaging was the important thing, made every so much easier I think. Also did wonders for her mental well-being, IE there is actually a cause for the pain.

It's incomplete, so you have to fill in the blanks. Obviously the production ones were not CNCed from billet, so just drawing it still leaves work to do before you can make it. This sketch hits the functional dimensions identified on the Cane Creek drawing, but one would need to inspect the mating parts to see what changes could be made in the name of manufacturability without breaking the function. For example, if the M6 threads are tapped through, they notch the 8mm bosses, which seems like a bad idea.

This is a great prompt; I’ve not had an x-ray of both L/R hips to check/compare. In reflection this seems such a simple place to start. I’m now questioning if it’s leg-length discrepancy or if the imbalance issue is at the hip socket instead. Thank you!
To be honest, that was a leading question.
A lot of designing for print is understanding how it will actually end up on paper or fabric, and working within the constraints of the printing methods that will be used - the number of colours practically available, the order they will be printed in, whether one colour will be overprinted or knock out the underlying colour, resolution, half-toning.
'Neon fades' and what you've said about choosing between digital vs. screen printing with the design already done, and 7 colours not being enough, makes me think you are going to be disappointed with what you end up with, unless you take a step back and discuss with someone who's done something similar.
