I have, ordered on the 9th. Went for an ep6 with gates belt drive, clockwork orange frame. They said 2 to 3 weeks for the frame to be sent over (depending on customs lottery). Don't mind waiting a bit as I don't really have anywhere to put it until the scaffolding in my front garden comes down so there's probably going to be an awkward few weeks of living room parking.
Had a few EP8's now and they are noice
Yeah I tested one but tbh I thought it was too much and stopped it feeling like a bike, definitely makes sense if you're lugging huge loads around town but not for a couple of babies imo.

Make sure you never use the 'auto shift' function. Most decent shops know to disable it so that it can't even be turned on. On a regular bike you sort of get away with it, with a cargo it just results in a mashed IGH.
They should know how to set the steering too, when you get it make sure the front wheel can't go past its limit stop in either direction. And then enjoy!
Which one? If they've got stock just buy it, the future is looking even bleaker than the recent past in terms of cargo bike stocks. Right now your in mid summer for pretty much anything from anyone if they don't physically have it in their hands.
Had a few EP8's now and they are noice. Definite more power over the e6100, and a tad more than the e8000. But mostly just much quieter and a bit more efficient than previous.
Spec is all over the place though (goes for any mftr), every bike i've had/sold has been just a little bit different, could be brakes, could be shifters, even little items like seatpost clamps, stems, handlebars have been different from bike to bike. Not a lot you can do about it though
