I found them while looking for a solution to my 34’s switching issue (which is, it turns out, a problem across most of the 34s Quad manufactured). My 34 is now a laptop stand. Love their 303 refurbs though, I’d definitely send them my 303 if I had a reason to use it again : )

Was even secretly harbouring the thought I might find another 303 and go mono block with a pair.

Hey ... seriously considering having him completely do the works on these including new interfaces. Funny that he hates RCA then fits them to everything. Thanks so much for the tip.

On the hunt for a pre-amp with MM phono stage that will feed my Quad 303 nicely. Fed up with my 33 - looks vintage nice, but troublesome. Anybody got something semi-nice they don’t need? Thinking I might get the 303 altered for BNC or aome other interface as the 4pin DIN makes really fucking loud shorting type noises sometimes - I’m pretty sure that’s doable …
