anybody help?

The mk3 Mondeo had heated and cooled seats...but cloth not leather. The cooling looked like two fans under the base of the seat.
So pointless.

Right, the E63 is definitely going- if anyone wants it I’ll offer it at the same price the dealer is giving me for part-ex which is £26,500.

No heater in my car. I like it that way.

Does your car have the silicate bag in the reservoir?

I use heated seats even in the summer.
Yeah, but... Scotland innit.
On another note, I want to get apple car/auto installed.
Current gen Volvo XC90, dealer is quoting about £400 I think to get it installed.
Is there a cheaper method that actually works? I see these kits you can buy on AliExpress for audi. But are they shady?
Or just pay the dealer? That or get somebody to decode your CEM PIN and then use VDASH (Both cost... £150 + €192) but that's a whole other world - one that i'm currently exploring for my factory sub install. BOOM.
Thoroughly recommend Car Play. The audio quality is also 100 X better than over AUX or BT. Really brings the base audio system to life (presuming you don't have B&W ;))
Having switched to Pixel recently I'm actually looking at Android Auto being enabled on ours and asked the dealer 3 days ago for a quote. Currently have the work phone permanently plugged in and used purely as our car entertainment device / map driver.Do you have 2 or 1 USB in the central console? You need 2 ideally, otherwise an upgrade is required. Don't just get Apple Car Play - get the 'Smart Phone Integration' package.
It's both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay for the same cost....https://accessories.volvocars.com/en-gb/XC90(16-)/Accessories/Document/VCC-515715/2016
Electric heated windshields are great, no more frantically scraping ice at 6am.
Give me a scraper any day, I'm keeping my HUD thank you! (It's one or the other). Those tiny little wires really used to get on my tits when I had them on my Focus back in the 2000s.

Maybe an old Alfa could temp you back in. Terrible photo but discovered that the workshop underneath our photographers studio is actually an Alfa specialist. Some tasty things in there, must get pics next time. This was out the front.

Those tiny little wires
Ha my pal also mentions Ford had them years ago. It is hard to unsee them once you notice.
The integration package is the one I need, I’ve only got one USB port.
Had tinted windows on the old car and don’t have them on the Volvo. Wondering what the cost would be to have them factory replaced… not interested in the kits

Calm down, picking up the MX5 from the garage on Saturday. Normal hooligan content will resume.

To be fair, all this talk of heated seats got me looking at options for my MX-5!
Granted, I can't be arsed and will just stick with the footwell heater (and some of those despised gloves, obviously).

MX5's... now there's a car where the heater can melt your shoes. Or at least my Eunos was like that.
-
• #68471
Also there's a fair amount of heat that comes from the transmission tunnel too!
-
• #68472
This was slightly offset by cranking down the A/C but one of my overriding memories of the family's MX-5 was a combination of awkward entries/exits, a strong desire for a tilt steering wheel and really hot feet
