A large fleet is required because the runways have to be cleared right now.
A few guys with plows could clear an airport in a few days, if nobody minds waiting that long for the airport to open.
That fee may be for an owner/operator. The owner’s cost of a big front end loader has to be considered. And is the owner paying for their fuel?
