Same here for the past month.. Other family members have expressed disgust at the soaking porridge pot in the sink.

I just use the handle of a wooden spoon, like a peasant.

What are you doing in my house...? A scene that is all too familiar.
Also left over porridge store it in a jar and let it accumulate over a few days. Then bake into bars for ride snacks or toddler snacks. Waste not want not etc...
