Had a few dealings with him and he has been a++. Do you have Instagram? He is pretty active on there (@ekudduke)

• #5729
Yeah, he's got posts in the last couple of days on the gram

I’ve dealt with him before and found him to be very honest but sometimes hard to get hold of.
I can see that it has already been a while and I’m sure he wouldn’t have intended it to be that way. Hopefully it will get resolved soon but he’s a good guy so have faith!

But you guys paid via Goods and Services, right?????? So you can just go through PayPal, right?????

• #5735
Oh good :)

Of course. As a last resort, I’d like to think this is a better place than that though!

What's a reasonable timeframe from making payment to the seller updating you posting items you've paid for. I get it's the bank holiday, but it's been radio silence from the seller for four days since I paid for stuff to be posted.

Have waited that long, worth a nudge first thing tomorrow then start to throw some shade imo

Tail end of school holidays might be a factor.
I know I'm counting down the days

Yeah, want to give them the benefit of the double because holidays and bank holiday, I'm only just surviving it myself.

"Thanks for the payment! A bit hectic here what with the kids off school and the Bank Holiday: I don't think I'll make it to the PO this weekend, is Tuesday ok?"
I didn't time myself, but guess it took less than a minute to type that.
File a claim with Paypal now and you'll hear from them soon enough.

Sorted out in the end so all's well that ends well

Basically only posts in the classified sections, which is a warning sign to me.

Loathe to post this here but @draughts has made two assurances that an item I bought would be in the post 'tomorrow' two weeks have passed..
I'm pretty scunnered to be honest. I'm resigned to the fact that I've been tucked up. In all the years I've been on here never had any issues.
I paid via PayPal f&f too, otherwise I'd have raised a dispute with them. My own fault.
Glad it wasn't more money.

A mention in the Bad Traders thread and the Good Traders thread in the same week. What a time to be alive.
I've not performed perfectly by any means, but going to defend myself here: @Merak asked me to post a basket. I initially refused, but after they begged, I agreed. They paid PayPal, and I wasn't able to post it before going on holiday. I apologised for this, and said I'd refund £5 for the inconvenience.
The basket is currently in the post.
Moral of the story, if you really badly want a basket for your bike, and you want it right away, buy it from a shop for 10 quid more and pay for next day delivery. Don't twist a forum user's arm into sending it to you.

Tom, slightly disingenuous of you.
If you had mentioned you were going on holiday and it would be a couple of weeks before I received it then fine but you said it be in the post the next day. You only conveyed the holiday and postage delay after a week.
I suppose it's all about managing expectations.
After a week I got back in touch you said it would be sent next day. A week later I posted this as you didn't bother to reply to my PM.
A bit more communication would have been appreciated. I only heard from you again after posting in here.
Whatever, if you really didn't want to post it you should have said. If you really weren't able to post it until a fortnight later you should have said.

Some people are not good communicators. It's something I always forget / take for granted because accurate, succinct and direct communication is a cornerstone of what I do for a living.

Are you a street walker?
It is indeed but I had a phone number and I had to text for a part he needed to send a week after we swapped framesets.Got no reply then and obviously reached out about 5 weeks ago regarding the potential facture.
