I got mine from Bike Gang - they're better than the Brompton ones as they are always correctly aligned. SJS do a lot of their stuff.

the levers are okay, but they fail to address the two fundamental "issues" with the OE ones

Is there a self aligning clamp option for the old style hinges?

I just got these as they're much cheaper than buying new clamps. Very nifty little things, they work well

They only fit the lwb/post 2004 hinge.

Ah, sorry. Perhaps contact the chap and see if he can design ones to suit you? They're just 3D printed I think

I was going to go for a 2 speed but only concern was the 'shit' derailleur... does the 4 speed change that?

the 4 speed is completely different, but good luck getting one... one of the biggest dealers in the country, we get 0 on drop 1, and see 2 in the new year...

plus, its not retrofittable.

Does the rear triangle/hinge assembly differ from the previous? How about the derailleur?

The new 4 speed. It has 11-13-15-18t. That suggests it's still limited to ~19t max teeth by space?

The highest and lowest gears don't match the range of the current 3speed,

Is it just a version of the 'superlight' with 4 gears. Not sure if it is nice, but I know it is pricey

The video on the Brompton page uses the phrase 'next level' a lot though, and has one rider with flat bars and another without so bars won't define this model

The P Line seems to cover almost the range of a 3-speed SA set up with 50t freewheel and 14t sprocket options:
44.6", 53.6", 61.8", 73.0" (i.e., 3.6, 4.3, 4.9, 5.8 metres development)
vs
43.0", 57.4", 76.5" (i.e., 3.4, 4.6, 6.1 metres development),
according to Sheldon Brown's online gear ratio calculator.

The revised rear suspension block is closer to the Moulton AM rubber cone which alters the rising rate and damping with length.
