I've been using it for Adobe stuff, including Photoshop and After Effects. Im starting to do a bit more After Effects stuff, which is where I've kind of met its limitations: I need to be able to work faster than it can preview and render.
It's been surprisingly capable up till now, though. Amazing what a 10 year old machine can still do, really.
The graphics card is an upgrade (OG card included though) and there's also a card with 4 extra USB ports in the back. The only thing I'd need to keep from it are the two SSD drives. It'll have a 1tb HDD and I'll leave the 2tb HDD in there, although I think somethings up with it as it's gone quite slow. Definitely worth popping an SSD in these - single best upgrade IMO.
Going to pull the trigger on a new machine tonight. I don't suppose anyone has a burning desire to buy my souped-up 2010 Mac Pro, by any chance?!
