The melter is an awesome site and the story of a german bomb probably as equally fascinating.
How they generate the massive massive energy requirement for it is also a whole heaven if youre into that kind of thing, if somehow you can get a tour it's worth every second down from the batcave entrance to the ornate tilework.

I wish I had a solution. I'm a higher rate tax payer that want to pay more tax but apparently that isn't usual. I sort of think the RBL should do more political campaigning but their constitution/charity laws probably don't allow it.

I love that kind of stuff (spent yesterday lunchtime trying to photograph Slough Heat and Power plant). Often people seem quite happy to show you round once you have made the initial contact but that first contact in the right way is a bit hit and miss.

I'd say all are. In the Rit. case the circumstances as reported suggest to me that he murdered at least one of the two deceased.

I think there have been some recent headlines that have been very critical of the Johnson government also. Maybe pressure for not being Tory enough?

Yes, that's going to be the shape of it for years to come. It'll constantly hit places where people don't expect it, one way or the other.

Ah nevermind. I've got better things to do than read news threads
Some digging later they might be anodes used for cells in in the Hall–Héroult process. Interesting.
