• I did not pay that much, but mine was the cheapest on Auto Trader. It fits in a weird place, people who want cars that big are either buying them to lug family around or they fit that middle manager business man aesthetic. The former aren't thinking about buying the most powerful version, they want a frugal car, and the latter want a premium badge. As a result, they're thin on the ground, and those who did buy them new were the ones who were able to hold their nose and spec them to the max, so there's more L&K with all the options and thus higher price, than the lower trim level I got with a lot of options but not all of them.

    I also managed to get a bit of a deal because I'm pretty certain the car supermarket I bought it from didn't know it had DCC so mine wasn't priced as such.

    It's hard to work out what used car prices are going to do at the moment because of the demand inflation, but I've predicted mine will lose £6-8k over 3 years, at which point I will sell as I don't want to deal with the stupid bills I've had in the last 2 years.
