Maybe it was less than 32. I know I spent my student loan on what seemed like super-fast PC at the time. Possibly a pentium 90. Am tempted to try and find records of exactly what I had when. But I would probably be better devoting my time to trying to get to grips with what I need in a modern PC.
I found an Iomega zip disc in a drawer the other day. A whole 100mb of storage. I remember when that seemed amazing.

The PC I had in 1997 had a massive 8mb of RAM so if you had 32 you were a gold plated diamond encrusted baller!
