Are you doing the work yourself? Lots of the garages I’ve spoken to won’t allow you to supply the parts (on the basis that a lot of customer bought parts, particularly ones sourced from eBay, are low quality). Although I have no specific knowledge of the part in question.

Oh god eBay sourced parts can be a nightmare. But then so can getting parts from ECP

Alot of garages also make money on the parts, difference between trade and retail. But the bigger protection is that the garage can get dodgy parts too but they have to cover the labour costs to replace.
