It's like the old days when Ferrari had an arrangement with the FIA which differed from that of the rest of the teams. Interesting how things change. Back then it was "fines" as opposed to time penalties.
From my front room, it was fairly obvious to see that Max purposefully opened the steering. Surely worth a 5 or 10 second stop/go penalty?

So apparently Massi is now saying Max should have been penalised.
If he did say this it's pretty much an admission that they fucked up, right?
If they had any doubt over whether the incident needed investigation, they could have just flagged it as needing investigation, then actually investigated it properly, in real time or after the race.
Weird.
So apparently Massi is now saying Max should have been penalised. It obviously didn't affect who won, but I do wonder if Mercedes knew that Max would have 5 seconds taken off whether Bottas would have attempted to get close enough to steal second.
