Freecycle: Elite Turbo Muin II Smart B+ / Cardboard packaging for wheelset

Okay so i'll start off my saying this does work, but with some caveats.

I've owned this for 4 years (bought off here), and in it's day was one of the best fluid direct drive trainers.

It's not 'smart', but it does do cadence and power, BT and ANT+ compatible. Works with all training apps, and i've used it with TrainerRoad without issue.

It includes the Smart B+ transmitter which sends the data.

There are a few things not quite right with it.

• It's noisy: despite being billed as a 'silent' trainer this one makes quite a lot of fluid sloshing noise, and more recently a loud ticking noise.
  
• Accuracy: I've never been sure how accurate it is in terms of power - I'm pretty sure for a lot of it's life it was over reading. You can tighten the belt which does affect the readings, although you need a PM to measure this against.
  
• General wear and tear: Body isn't the best from sitting in a damp shed, and the little compartment to change the battery for the sensor takes some fiddling as the screws are quite rounded - but it's not impossible.
  
• Ride feel: It used to be super smooth despite all the above flaws, but it now feels a bit rough when you pedal. To be honest this is the final straw and why I'm upgrading.
  
  

I've tested it this morning and it does still connect with TR.

I'm trying to be super honest because it weighs 16kg so if you come and get it and then don't want it, you'd rightly be upset. I can send a video of the noise via whatsapp to anyone interested.

Cardboard packaging for wheelset.

Originally used to post some carbon zipps. (sadly not to me).

Very sturdy, would be a shame to break up and recycle but taking up too much space.
