  • Interesting build! But a used carbon fixie with belt drive for £2k?

  • You are potentially right - I have no idea. It's only because Trek made a limited number of these so it does have some rarity value. It's certainly a head turner on the few times it has been ridden into the city. I'm not sure there are that many singlespeed carbon belt drive bikes out there from anybody - but I'd love to see some more if there are : )

  • Hiya - I am interested in this single speed. Please can you reach out as I would very much like to know more.

  • Swisstim - can you DM please as I am keen to see the bike. 077 2949 3948

  • Price drop down to £1,500 on Ebay at the moment with starting price of £950...it must leave the garage.

  • Frame weight please

  • Hi Josh - frame, fork and seatcap weigh in at approx 1,450g

  • the whole bike should be around the 6.9kg mark, they were light when they came out and every review said the same thing - change the wheels.

  • Absolutely right @Dogs - wheels are heavy. A light set of wheels will get this down to around the 6kg mark. There was one that popped up on weighweenies that was down to 5.5kg from memory, no idea what the build was.

The District Carbon is essentially the Trek Madone frame/fork and seatmast from 2010: https://www.cyclingnews.com/features/trek-launches-2010-madone-range/

  • @swisstim Is the bike stil for sale?

  • Evening.

Trek district carbon still for sale ?.
If so can you contact me please on 07855742144

    Thank you Gary

  • Still for sale...and still unridden in two years...

  • put it in a skip

  • A skip near you @amey or just the local tip?

  • @swisstim near me if you dont mind 😉

  • Have any of these ever came up for sale on ebay? Probably worth checking previous sold prices there.

This bike is rad af. I really like it and remember when it was released. But even with its rarity and it does look immaculate, that kind of money for a ten year old madone might be optimistic.

    Glws!

  • @swisstim incredible bike. Really what I want but poor timing for me. House purchase underway and I think the missus will murder me if I buy any more bikes.
That said... Are you sticking to the price? Or willing to move it?

  • How much does this weigh?

  • Hello, presume this has now gone?
    John

  • Remarkably not, if you are genuinely interested then let me know

  • Message sent! Is this still available?

  • Is this still available. What are you after price wise?

  • Hi swisstim
