Tough loss, if it has to be to anyone, glad it's NZ. Hope they play Pakistan in the final, then it's win-win. Injuries have hit England harder than anyone, you put archer, roy, stokes and mills in that team and the result is probably different.

Bairstow scoring 13 from 17 - whilst far from disastrous and if he'd stayed in another couple overs I'm sure he'd have caught it up - puts subsequent batters on the backfoot. Means Buttler possibly took more risks than he'd otherwise have wanted to. I thought Mo played a good innings, when looked at in isolation, but when he's out there with Malan surely he's got to be the hitter, scoring at 150 SR or above. He settled in and played out a sensible innings when we needed someone to accelerate. We had batting depth that never got used, a bit more aggression in the middle could easily have seen us score the additional 15 runs that could have put this beyond NZ...
