  • A slightly reluctant sale but this simply doesn't get the use it should.

Cinelli Superstar (rim), small; Campagnolo Centaur groupset with Chorus chainset (50/34, 11-32, 170mm) and a Vision Trimax Carbon 40 wheelset. Callipers were changed for Miche to clear 28mm tyres.

The bike was bought about 6 months ago and has seen about 2500km, probably 1/3 of that total on the trainer.

It's in generally excellent condition and mechanically totally sound. There's a little cable rub on the headtube and the odd tiny mark here and there from normal use, but there's nothing of note and no one will be disappointed. The wheels are excellent, with loads of life left, and I'll fit brand new Vision pads. The tyres (Michelin Power Road) have seen less than 300km.

Bars are Deda Superzero (with the ovalised top section), and the post is a Deda Zero 100. This has some marks/rub from my saddlebag. Saddle is an almost new Fabric Scoop.

This is just under 8kg with pedals, and is a very lively bike to ride.

I'm asking £1800, which I think is very fair for a 6 month old, £1900 bike with not far off £1000 of upgrades, but let me know if I'm way off and we'll talk about it.

Collection from HP3 - within 5 minutes walk of Hemel Hempstead station - or can meet the buyer at Euston station if preferred. Also prepared to drive for about an hour to meet anyone further afield halfway.

    Any questions, please ask.

  • Oh shit, someone buy this before I do. PLEASE!

  • Come on, you know you want to! :-)

  • If no interest by tomorrow evening I'll move this to Ebay. Prepared to listen to sensible offers.

  • Have received some interest on the wheelset on this.

I'd be prepared to split if there's interest on the groupset and the frame as well (but would need takers for all 3 for a split to be worthwhile).

  • Out of interest what price for frame group and finishing kit posted?

  • I'd need to look at postage costs but I'm going to say £1450 posted. I have a frame box but not a bike box so I'd also have to see if it would fit in there partially disassembled.

Happy to DM if you want to discuss.

  • Final reduction before Ebay- £1650 whole bike, which is an absolute bargain IMO.

Split prices (assuming/applicable if takers for at least 2 of the 3 bits):

    1. Frame, forks and finishing kit (stem, bars, post etc): £900 (can post)

    2. Groupset: £400 (can post)

    3. Wheelset inc tyres: £450 (dibsed at the moment)

  • What size is the frame?

  • It’s a small
