We always used the term norms as teenagers when on acid. “Go buy some soft fruits from the norms in the garage” massive paranoia as attempting to pass as a norm while your mind swirls around itself.

Using the term 'norms' to refer to the general populace. The implied exceptionalism of the user is almost always wildly inaccurate.
