Ha. No smoke unfortunately!

Tempted to do a Rauchbier or a smoked Old Ale soon though.

Went to Waitrose to stock up on the 2021 fuller vintage ale, and the fuckers have just put out the last few bottles of 2020.

Did buy one, and am enjoying it, but would rather have a few 2021 to add to the cupboard.

International stout day? Go on then.

My local Tesco has the Cloudwater collab box on the cheap (£6.50 down from £10)

Surprisingly good Sainsbury's own brand

There are 12 days of Christmas. None of which are in November.

Went to the White Horse in Parsons Green today. Actually had half a dozen good bitters on which was a pleasant change from most London pubs. The French Toast Brown Ale was probably the pick of them.

One of the Lidl beer fest pickups, pretty good, tastes like I remember the Charles Wells version used to.

Anyone know a good brewpub in Barcelona (Eixample-ish)? My flight home got cancelled in a couple of weeks so I've got a night to kill.

I've not been but Garage Beer have a taproom in Barcelona I think.

Not helpful in the least, but I had a wonderful night necking rum in La Confiteria, very close to Pararlel station.
This was a few years back, but i remember the barkeep being nice, the booze flowing and the tab relatively cheap.
Also fantastic vegetarian tapas near by, Sesamo, did a great tasting menu, and then plied us with free wine as they needed us to move tables. We didn't mind but they felt we needed compensating.

Yeah think that would be the one, in the same complex as the Museum of Catalan History.

Olgod had a great tap list when we were there last. Multiple US breweries that we struggle to get over here.

We also had a great evening in the Edge Brewing taproom but google seems to suggest it’s since closed
