Anyone plastic panelled the walls of a bathroom?

Previous owners here did. Used correx-type stuff, over top of existing tiles and done with very little care or skill.

Thankfully all taken away in a skip last week!

Ah that is not what I want to hear. Part of the idea was ease of installation over tiles around a bath.
