  • Oh good, another watch thatโ€™ll sold out in 20 seconds.

  • ^^ who took that photo, ejay?

  • @ejay2.0 is a master photographer compared to Eddie Platts of Timefactors.

  • Thatโ€™s rather scary!๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

  • The thing is, Eddie Platts makes an effort. He gets out a light box, puts a background up. Adjusts everything until he thinks its just right. Grabs his dedicated camera for the task. Snaps away and thinks "those look great" despite them looking like dog shit.

He'd be better off taking a few shots with a ten year old phone under shop lighting.

  • I do feel a little bad for saying that because it does look like he's made some improvements lately tbf

  • I can't believe this is still available.

  • the images are terrible, i can say that as i used to shoot watches for QP/Telegraph/GQ but it doesnโ€™t actually matter when you sell out of everything already and those sales are not generated on the back of years of expensive branding to gain market share.
they are well made homage timepieces with price the main arbiter for purchase, there is not much sentiment to sell as that part of the marketing/myth making was done by somebody else years ago.

  • So I ordered a bracelet for the speedmaster from Uncle Seiko. The 1450 president... Went with that instead of the forstner version. Anyway, amazing... Ordered on Sunday and arrived this morning. California to Sydney in barely 2 days. Have yet to fit it but if feels good in the hand. A little unsure of the taper, the 16mm clasp feels a little dainty. We'll see how it wears tomorrow.

Bold of you to assume Ejay uses lights

  • His online presence is a case study for millennial marketeers.

  • Ten year old iphone , check
variable lighting from glare to shadow , check

If it's not broken , don't fix it.

  • Got to admit tho the last ones of that chronostop and the seamaster 200 were an improvement ........of sorts

  • Funniest thing here for a while. Your photography skills (or lack of) overtake your Omega knowledge and usual helpfulness. Maybe time for a new phone? ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

  • I personally enjoy it. Why change something that brings the community so much joy (laffs)?

*if you see something you may like, (because it's a blur), ask and he'll send you a goodun. Trust me, he's done it for me.

@ejay2.0 ignore the naysayers! Post your artistic pics!

  • Artistic = blurry ๐Ÿ˜

  • I feel vindicated in my lack of ability .
And I love my iphone 5 so not changing for any of these new fangled camera phones that take pictures in focus .

  • I do find it amusing that @ejay2.0 's 2 main passions are Alfas and Omegas.

  • Ha, very good.

  • Its true ,
Can't call yourself a petrolhead until you've owned an Alfa Romeo (or 8 ) can't call yourself a watch buff until you've owned a Speedmaster professional .

  • They are literally the beginning and the end ........

  • Seiko and a Skoda ftw.
