Before the vote some Tories including the PM and Rees Mogg emphasised Paterson's grief and mental health being at stake, but the next morning , after reading the papers, they didn't even bother to tell him they've changed their mind and left him to find out his career's over from a journalist after it's been announced. Doesn't sound like they hand his wellbeing in mind to me.
