  • I wish that Amazon were doing a doc on Man United this season..

  • There was a photo of the City players celebrating a goal in front of Man U fans and there wasn’t a single person shouting, flicking Vs etc, just absolute resignation.

    Edit - found it

  • In some ways, that United defeat was worse than the Liverpool game. They were never up for it and City barely got out if second gear after half time.

I doubt they’ll give City the satisfaction of being responsible for ending Ole’s reign so I’d expect him to get a few more games.

Pleased to see my local non-league side Buxton in the second round of the FA cup after winning yesterday, despite sacking their manager midweek because he wanted to take a holiday during the season.

  • And Smith's gone. A real shame, but results just haven't been good enough and he doesn't seem to have known what to do about it.
Let's see who they have lined up...

  • I was about to break into celebration seeing that 'Breaking News' flash across the screen. Utd still sticking to the what happens if you just don't sack the manager experiment.

  • Sad to see Farke go, but his record in the Premier League is simply awful (P49 W6 D8 L35 F31 A101) and he’s seemingly abandoned our identity this season to try and solve it. By all accounts the decision was made in the morning which is why the board looked so glum throughout the game.

Not sure who will be on our list. I’d quite like to see Lampard but very much doubt he’d take it, and Mark Robins has done a decent job for a while now - it’s bound to be someone we’ve never heard of based on Webber’s previous appointments, and I’m sure they’re all but lined up now already.

Whoever it is, they’ve got a trio of attacking players in Tzolis, Cantwell and Gilmour who have all been frozen out or on the bench by Farke and are all talented enough to be playing regularly. I’m quite excited to see what’s next (aside from the inevitable relegation!).

  • Rumours of Brendan Rodgers to take over from Ole.

  • Most Villa fans saw it coming, but I’m still pretty gutted to be fair. It was really good to have a Villain at the helm while it lasted and he did an incredible job considering the state we where in when he came.

Lord knows who the club are lining up. BBC have mentioned Kasper Hjulmand, the Denmark boss.

  • Yeah - it's a real shame he couldn't push us on the next step, but been a great 3 years.

Stevie G seems very high on the list as well. Really not sure how that would pan out.

  • i rarely have the big TV on, but this last night was excellent

  • Not much to say; other than West Ham are 3 points off top spot over quarter of the way through the season and Klopp is looking to claim Maureen’s post match moan crown.

  • Klopp is looking to claim Maureen’s post match moan crown

    He's a two faced cunt.

He's all fake teeth and fake smiles when they're steamrolling teams but starts whinging like a little bitch as soon as any team gets anything out of their games.

Football fans not behaving like knuckle dragging adolescents. Never thought I'd see the day.

  • Football fans not behaving like knuckle dragging adolescents.

Are United fans really football fans?

  • Cresswell was lucky to stay on, but no one in the whole world of football agrees with him with the first goal being a foul on Alison.

    #toothytwat

  • Agreed.. watched the second half and Mr Big Tooth Energy must have been embarrassed about how easily WHU pinged the ball into the space behind TAA.

  • Fuck me, we're still three points clear... I did not see that coming, I didn't even bother looking at the results this morning...

  • Agree it was no foul on Alisson. He was very flappy all match.
Cresswell decision seemed odd, apparently VAR considered the "intensity" of the challenge? Haven't heard that referred to before when such incidents have been analysed in the past.

  • Well City fans were singing “Paul Scholes, he sucks his daughters toes!”

But tbf, a pretty accurate chant.

  • Klopp really does seem to think that the role of the ref is to stop the opposition tackling Liverpool's players.

  • our high line is too damn high
never seen so many one on ones with a liverpool keeper and saw virgil put in 2 or 3 full speed runs, again the most i think i've ever seen him do in a game, usually he's just in 2nd gear

well at least moyes looked thrilled with it all, it's rare to see him smile

  • It was a grim tackle tho. No idea how that's not even a card.

I'm a massive Klopp fan but he could be more gracious at times. Still, these highly motivated competitive people do struggle with that aspect, he's hardly alone...

  • they're all bad losers
jose pep klopp big fat sam all get a bit grumpy after a defeat and say some silly things in the heat of disappointment

  • Looks much worse on the still. I think his leg bounced off the top of the ball which was why it was so high. There wasn't much force and no intent I reckon. Falls into the "you've seen them given"

  • Milner got away with a shocker against City so these things even themselves out.

West Ham are a joy to watch. Van Dijk got Liverpool out of the shit a few times or it could have much worse.
