Got this Specialized Power Saddle which didn't work out for me.

Not sure which version it is; the only writing says "Power" and "Body Geometry". It might be the Comp? Feel free to enlighten me.

Keen to trade for something else. Maybe a Fizik? I've got an SMP Dynamic I get on with.

Try fabric saddles I got one on each off my bikes love them. Best thing with fabric saddle you can try them out for 90 days and return them back if not happy.

What in particular didn't work out for you with this saddle out of interest?

Only ask as I've tried a few short and/ or cut out saddles (not this one), and found Prologo Dimensions to be good for me. Found PRO Stealth was good.... but too wide in the nose.

If you end up selling and buying Merlin have have big discounts on saddles at the moment loads with cutouts. I'm a Dimension fan as well although they don't have that

@Amir_Atbak hard to tell what’s particularly wrong with it. It just... hurts. It feels like my sitbones just come off the edges and I ended up with saddle sores. Strange as the dynamic is the same width, but i think the shape of it means it supports you differently. I also tried a Bontrager aeolus which is similar to the power, woth similar results. Tbh I think i could do with something wider than 143.

Also got this Romin Evo which didnt work for me. Similar story, think its too narrow.

This ones lived a life. Leather is torn at the back, which i’ve tried to show, and the rails are rusty, but its pretty clean on the top and structurally sound.
Probs best to trade if you just fancy trying one of these out, like i did.

This ones also 143mm. Think I’d like something a bit wider

I've just sold a Romin evo i found it ok but the nose a little firm on the outer edges and the dimension is way comfier. I also like my arione and prologo scratch although that is a narrow saddle. Without opening a can of worms often things like cutouts and short/dropped noses to relieve pressure can be solved by tilting the saddle forward even a couple of degrees nothing extreme like you see sometimes or raising your bars 5-10mm assuming you've got the height right in the first place. Francis Cades mate has done some really good videos on YouTube about Saddles. I used to get a reoccurring saddle sore that was sorted by a 5 mm drop in height after trying probably 10 different saddles.

They (used to?) do a gel version, which is the only type I use. Non-gel is too firm for me, as per your experience.

not sure if this is an older or newer version but I have 2 types of these saddles and look nothing like the one you are trading, could it be a really good knock-off the original? might be wrong here

This particular design is prevalent on AliExpress unfortunately.

I've got the same saddle, it came with a new entry level Specialized bike. It's also on other pics of OEM Specialized bikes as far as I can tell. But I agree, it looks (and feels) very different from the Comp level Power saddles.

Agreed, the branding is usually as knock-off as the product so would be worrying if it got this close.
