Yeah I like the simplicity of it.
I've seen this version and the coaster brake version with the integrated frame mount for the brake arm. I wasn't aware of the Tern version actually.This one previously had 20 x 2.2 Maxxis DTH that I pinched for a mini velo. It's why the mud guard gap is now so large. I'd recommend putting a similar sized tyre back on as it corners much better that way.
It's now on its first dibs, I should have an update by Tuesday.

Great bike, I had the Mu until it was stolen and bought the (identical) Tern Uno. Both excellent, and surprisingly useful
