For mixed office use where an "efficient" core is more than enough for most of the day, the 12th Gen hybrid probably cuts your power and AC bills enough to justify it's existence. While much has been made of the 240W the 12900k requires at full whack, I haven't seen a single mention of how little it uses at idle or when dicking about on lfgss. Strange.
