I have a beard and it was much fuller when I did the floor. For a one off job, given proper ventilation in the room, you would likely get good enough protection with a "regular" mask rather than having to go full face. I would have thought they were more necessary for regular and prolonged exposures. But, I am not a HSE expert.
Nice, thank you, although per subsequent conversations I do have a beard to deal with. Hoping I can just squash it up inside the mask and still achieve a good seal but that may be hopeful... Hmmm. Not going to drop £250 on a full face on tho...
