Yeah, New Mexico was probably the most beautiful place I've ever been. And no, hiked from Taos Ski Resort. Wasn't actually that arduous as the base of the hike is so high up. 14.02km, 890m of elev. The air was thin and the entire hike was through snow so that was the most challenging part.
