Let’s hope Spurs make Conte Spursy rather than Conte making Spurs Contey.
That said, I’m glad Tottenham have taken him out of Man U’s pool of options.

England Captain to Newcastle would be the ultimate buy to attempt to cynically water down the taint of PIF/Saudi ownership.
(In fact, the more I think about it, the more it might actually happen. Levy will have to have promised some money to Conte for the January window, so maybe that's going to be the proceeds from selling Kane to NUFC for a vastly inflated price.)

They seem to be forgetting they are deep in a brutal relegation battle, as opposed to the Champions League group stages. A fact obviously not lost on Emery, Conte, Xavi or Low
I think we all know which direction their managerial search is pointing in then.

This would make my whole year.

turned the opportunity down
"opportunity" - lol.
-
• #159332
Fact is that Spurs don’t need Conte to make them more cunty.

• #159333
Is that a pint of white wine?
Honestly thought it was some sort of urban myth.
-
• #159334
Isn't it doomed to fail tho'? Conte has got a massive bee in his bonnet about signing his own players, Levy is not gonna let him do that... It's Jose all over again... Or AVB... Etc...

but all have turned the opportunity down
I enjoy the fact that they describe it as an "opportunity".

i feel sorry for luis suarez having to play for that shithouse of a team, pissing all over them twice in a week is almost as good as winning the cup itself >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

He’s a perfect Atleti player. Fits them like a glove.

Took great joy in the red card tonight. Very much a “Fine, Fuck you” approach that I feel done a few more times would improve the game.

Howe into Newcastle. Not quite the big name they might have been after. (Though he is pretty good).
-
• #159340
Funnily Howe is probably the best appointment they could have made. Used to trying to keep an average squad up.
-
• #159341
TBH I'll probably be back on here tomorrow night annoyed we missed out on him after Smith gets the elbow.

BFS is available.

• #159343
I think Terry might be likely.

It pains me to say it but i think it’s time for Dean Smith to go. I appreciate we’re missing some key players and we sold Jack but we have looked absolutely clueless for arguably 9/11 of this seasons games. I don’t think it’s working anymore.

Nice day out at Stamford Bridge today. Chelsea were on top, mainly due to Kante, but we stuck with the gameplan and got a deserved point.
Chelsea fans always seem to be more magnanimous than Chelsea managers after these matches.

What the Farke...
etc

• #159347
International break, innit.
Probably decided weeks ago.
-
• #159348
Is BFS having a presumptive pint of white wine?
-
• #159349
Epic away day at St Andrews once they had turned the stadium off and on again

We prefer our sheets dry in West London...
