I usually drill a couple of holes and use pop rivets to fix the flap; you just need to make sure the rivet heads are large enough.
Also, would it be possible to fashion something to give the chainset/BB area more coverage on the driveside?
Beyond a scobleflap? I guess you might be able to use milk carton HDPE or something to extend the guard round?
I want to make a rear flap. I've got a thick and flexible A4 sized piece of rubber. What's the best way to secure this to my plastic guards? I'm thinking of dremelling a few slots and using good old zip-ties.
Also, would it be possible to fashion something to give the chainset/BB area more coverage on the driveside? I'm running 1x so don't have to worry about chainline variation.
