Have been running these for a while in 36. Great tire, roll great. Had a few punctures initially, but after switching to slightly heavier tubes they haven’t had any problems. I had the “race” version before these, but the “pro” version is miles better.
Nightmare to get on the rim the first time, but fine after that. The 36 measures 38.5 on my 25mm internal rims, maybe of interest.
Have been meaning to try out a pair of Vitorria Terreno Zero, are supposed to be a lot more puncture resistant according to bicyclerollingresistance. They also come in 38c

EDIT - just did some searches back in the thread and they sound positive, and come in 4omm. Might try them.
