Just finally finished this build, Pinarello Asolo bought from here in the spring. Components I used deem it nowhere near fancy enough for the MGOF thread, but I'm pleased with how it turned out! My first build from scratch so was a good learning experience. (I know, should've taken the saddlebag and lights off for the photo).

where are you finding these?!?

I need to somehow justify downtube shifters on a steel bike with a modern 1 1/8" ahead stem but I think this is a combination that will probably always look terrible. Any projects that went the same route and actually look good??

This is lovely and was once sold on here! Not seen mudguards on a Baracchi before? I picked up an early 70's Italia a few months ago otherwise I would have snapped this one up, so nice and a bargain! V at the start of serial number?
