If anybody reading this has a set of 650b wheels fitted with 48mm tyres would you mind measuring the diameter for me (and letting me know).

Will do, tyres are 47s really but on Brevet rims (fairly narrow), at least you’ll maybe get sonething near an absolute minimum height for what you’re planning.

Just remembered to do this. WTB Byway 47c tyres on Brevet rims are 690mm tall.
