Is ebay the best place to sell boxed retro games? I have found about 20 game boy games at my parents house, which i think may pay for a switch..... Or is there a better site, specific to vintage gaming?

Nothing too interesting, the first two Mario's, some teenage mutant ninja turtles games, weird movie tie ins like Hook, Bart Simpson and Home Alone and then some classics like; tennis, tetris, Dr Mario etc.

Ah coolio. Some of your stuff probably is desirable in the box. I agree that eBay might be the best shot to find big spenders

Yes I've got the reminder set thanks! Interesting to know how many people forget about the window - you've got to wait two weeks but then you've missed it a month later!

Nintendo switch lite- do I need physical games or can it all be online downloads?
-

90% of mine are digital. Storage is only 32Gb though, so you'll need a MicroXDSC card...

Aside from BotW which I got with the console, everything's digital for me. Good microSD cards are super cheap these days (while Sony are selling their 32Gb Vita cards for £150...).

Thanks both!

Not sure if everyone now has access but Xbox are rolling out cloud games on game pass.
I played Hades today with no more than 20 seconds of loading. Considering the quick nature of the game, it was totally playable. Gave me a good enough feeling for it so I then downloaded it.
Which was fast 😬

If you download games, then they’re only getting bigger.
FH5 is 100Gb. That’s about a 12-15 min download for me or 4 hour download on a 60Mbps connection.

Ok PS5's are quite good!
Even playing Warzone (a PS4 game); image quality, smoothness, stuff actually rendering in before you pancake onto it - so good.Just played a bit of Astros playground - the triggers are cool. I don't think they'll get a lot of action in competitive multiplayer games but they're fun for playing against the computer.

So, OH and boy are away this week, so I've dug out the Xbone and finally got to play the Shadow of the Tomb Raider game I bought about 4 years ago. Great fun, even if Crofty is still a slaughter machine and you really wonder what Terry Pratchett did to his daughter to leave her so obsessed with putrefying cadavers.
BUT, I completed it and started to install Red Dead 2 last night, and after a while the screen just went blank, and nothing seems to change that. The box will turn on, and when you put a disc in there's a bit of initial whirring, but no pictures. Any thoughts?

Have you double checked the cables?
-
• #26123
Yeah, cables was the first thing I tried. Tried the troubleshooting, and that brings up the initial green Xbox screen, then goes blank again. I'm now trying their support line, but they're saying something's wrong at their end so that's not working.
Most frustrating, was looking forward to spending my last day on my own watching a horse's arse.

Can't wait for VC.
May just be the nostalgia but for me it's been the best in the series. Can't wait to play that over Christmas.
